How to Check if a String Is a Valid JSON String in Javascript?

In order to check the validity of a string whether it is a JSON string or not, We’re using the JSON.parse()method with few variations.

function IsJsonString(str) {
    try {
        JSON.parse(str);
    } catch (e) {
        return false;
    }
    return true;
}

javascript is valid json string

function isValidJSONString(str) {
    try {
        JSON.parse(str);
    } catch (e) {

    }
    return true;
