Kotlin Comment

During software development process, developers might need to write comments across the application code as it's an important part of your program, it improves the readability of your code and makes it easier to understand. Writing meaningful comments in the code is considered a good programming practice. Similar to other programming languages, Kotlin does supports single line and multi-line comments.

1) Single line comment

Single-line comments starts with two forward slashes (//). Any code after two forward slashes will be skipped and ignored from Kotlin.

2) Multi-line comment

Multi-line comments start with /* and ends with */. Any code between these two syntax will be ignored and skipped by Kotlin.
