Remove duplicates from an array in C#

There are many method to remove duplicates from an array in C#:
1) Using Distinct().ToArray() method.
2) By creating a HashSet object and copy content from Array.

1) Using Distinct().ToArray() method.

The built in method from using System.Linq; namespace will allow you to get distinct items from an array.

using System;
using System.Linq;

public class Program
{
    public static void Main(string[] args)
    {
        int[] anArray = new[] { 3, 1, 3, 14 };
        int[] distinct = anArray.Distinct().ToArray();

        /* Below lines used to print array to console */
        Console.WriteLine(string.Join(", ", distinct));
    }
}

Output

3, 1, 14

2) By creating a HashSet object and copy content from Array.

Another easy method to get distinct items from am array in C# is by creating a Hashset object and copy all elements using CopyTo() method.

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;

public class Program
{
    public static void Main(string[] args)
    {
        int[] anArray = new[] { 3, 1, 3, 14 };
        HashSet<int> hashSet = new HashSet<int>(anArray);
        int[] distinct = new int[hashSet.Count];
        hashSet.CopyTo(distinct);

        /* Below lines used to print array to console */
        Console.WriteLine(String.Join(", ", distinct));
